[Trending Now] Jackie Chan’s Daughter Allegedly Attempted To Kill Her Own Life!

Etta Ng, the daughter of action/comedy legend Jackie Chan and former beauty queen Elaine Ng, admitted herself into a hospital in Hong Kong after returning from Thailand.

It is widely-known that Etta’s relationship with her mother has been rocky within the past few weeks. It got so bad that the teenager got her mother arrested by the police for criminal intimidation after a dispute about her friends arose when her mom found sedatives in her room.

That’s not the first time she got her mom arrested either. 

Back in 2015, Elaine was arrested when Etta reported to school officials that her mother was abusing her and had a drinking problem. Her relationship with her father is not that good as well. In fact, they don’t have one at all. 

She said in an interview that, “Chan is just my biological father” and “[he] is just a stranger.”

There were speculations that Etta may have been battling emotional distress for a while. According to the website Ming Pao, the teenager shared articles related to suicide on social media last year.

Leaving for Thailand last Friday, she posted online about how she was feeling stressed. She posted, "Leaving HK for a bit tomorrow. I'm still alive, for those who are wondering." 

After her abrupt return to Hong Kong last Sunday, she was hospitalized following an alleged suicide attempt. 

Reporters tried getting Elaine’s side on the matter but said that it was not convenient for her to speak about the issue for the time being. Although, she did leave them with a statement that they are still waiting for the doctor’s report at the moment.
