Most businessmen think that the human workforce is the most vital component of their company. They serve as the backbone of the business’ daily operation. This is the reason why employees are taken good care of by their employers. However, a half-Thai and half-Japanese big-time boss in Singapore decided to take this at a more serious level. To show that he really values his workforce, he just gave them an expensive and luxurious dream vacation.

According to Elite Readers, Chatri Sityodtong, the awesome and generous boss, was never born rich. His family experienced poverty and difficulty in life. He just managed to work hard until he was able to set up his own company. Because of this previous experience, Sityodtong could identify with his employees. He can fully understand where they are coming from so he showed them gratitude by treating them annually to luxurious trips and vacations.

In 2016, the 45-year-old Sityodtong just spent $500,000 or almost Php24.9 million for his employees’ dream vacation. He treated his more than 100 “Evolve Mixed Martial Arts” employees in an all-expenses-paid vacation at a five-star luxury resort in Maldives. Aside from this year’s vacation trip, Sityodtong is known for touring his workforce in different other countries such as Thailand and Indonesia. Aside from the employees of Evolve Mixed Martial Arts, the generous boss also shows gratitude to the employees of his other company, the ONE Championship. ONE Championship is tagged as “Asia’s largest sports media property”.

This boss really thinks that his employees deserve such generous vacation trip because his company continues to grow every year despite economic instability in Singapore. He also noted that the dream vacations are a form of escape for his employees.

“Many of my staff would love to travel around the world, but do not have the means to do so. The vast majority of my team at Evolve come from humble backgrounds of poverty, tragedy or adversity. For them, Evolve is the greatest opportunity to escape poverty and to achieve the life of their dreams,” Sityodtong said in an interview with UK-based news site, Metro.

It is really evident that employers like Sityodtong are giving their employees such importance.
