The movie “Die Beautiful” touched the hearts of many people. Not only was it able to reach out to the LGBT community but also to the people who want to be as beautiful as ever on their death bed.
Of course, death is not an entirely beautiful scenario. Once a person dies, all you’ll see are gloomy faces and people who are in mourning for their dearly departed. The deceased person also often looks far from what they looked like when they were still alive. Due to the absence of life, the human body undergoes rigor mortis wherein the entire body stiffens and changes the texture of the skin making the person look lifeless, similar to a wax figure.
Make-up is the only solution to bring back the natural skin color of a dead person.

A young model who goes by the name Racine Pregunta made a dying wish to be beautiful once her loved ones place her inside her coffin.
Racine was a beautiful woman who was into modeling. Her pretty face and great physique made her the envy of ladies her age. However, her dreams and career was cut short when she was diagnosed with a rare disease called Osteosarcoma.

Osteosarcoma is a type of cancer which attacks the bones. Due to this illness which first started on her right knee, Racine grew weaker and weaker everyday forcing her to give up her modeling career.
Her sister Rolyn Pregunta made the announcement public on October 21, 2016 when she asked for everyone’s help to donate B+ blood for Racine’s operation.
In her post, she said:
“Hi everyone,
This is to inform everyone my sister. Racine currently admitted in SPMC. Racine is battling Osteosarcoma. Its a rare disease. Right now she badly needs B+ blood type to stabilize her hemoglobin. The soonest possible she will undergo surgery on her right knee. I am humbly asking for your support, if any of you can donate B+ blood.type tomorrow we will greatly appreciate.”
“We are indire need of assistance. May God touch everyones heart. God bless!!!” she added.

After a few days, she posted yet another status on her Facebook, this time shedding a bit of light on her sister’s illness.

Rolyn said “Her illness is like a theft in the night,” as Osteosarcoma only has a few signs and symptoms making it hard to detect during its early stage.
Eventually, the time came when Racine had to go. After 6 months of treatment, the young model finally succumbed to her death. But before she passed away, Racine already prepared for her burial.
She already told her sister Rolyn her plans regarding what she would wear, where she would be buried, and what she would look like.

Rolyn posted her sister’s final wishes in Racine’s Facebook account and made it public for everyone to see.
In the post, she said:

“Let me tell you how Racine prepared her departure.
It was April 12, 2017... Before she informed everyone that she's ready to go. She had these requests: An off- shoulder white dress and a white flowerband. The next day, she asked for something that's Violet, Blue and Mint Green. Then I asked her "Unsa d I na gang?" she replied "Basta kabalo nka ana". The following day.... she said: I want to lay beside Papa. Thus, I said, let me try to achieve your request, consulted Mom about it and she told me: If we can afford to buy the lot beside my father's grave. She practically suggested; what if "ipatong nalang nato sya sa lubnganan sa imu Papa?" And immediately relayed the message to Racine and she answered "it' s fine". She added: "If I die, I want to die BEAUTIFUL." Personally requested for Ate Gladys to do her make- up (who is her personal make- up artist). Today, request fullfilled and there all I see is you, smiling.

Racine died on April 19, 2017 with all of her requests fulfilled by her family.
