[Trending Now] Daughter Gets Mysterious Sores on Her Face and No One Could Cure Her, Until Mother Recalls One Detail From 8 Months Ago

A day after her 2nd birthday, Savina French-Bell noticed some rashes on her daughter, Sienna Duffiled. The doctors said that it would take eight months before they can figure out what caused it.

"It started to look like someone had thrown acid over her face, it spread from her mouth to her cheeks, and above her eyes," Savina said during an interview with Inside Edition.

For eight long months, young Sienna suffered from the rashes as the doctors also did not know what to do about it. This has caused the family of Savina and Sienna to live in a nightmare.

The rashes spread over Sienna’s face and around her mouth wherein it grew blisters. These blisters bled whenever they popped or broke. According to Savina, it was like Sienna’s face was being eaten slowly.

The toddler was having difficulty eating as it was painful for her mouth, and her clothes would always have blood on them. Savina no longer took her out as other people’s comments hurt her child.

Doctors first diagnoses of Sienna’s condition were infected by eczema or allergy however, none of their prescriptions to cure actually worked. It was already hard for her to take in food so doctors had to feed her through IV.

What Savina did was to recall what happened before the rashes occurred and she happened to remember that a relative who had herpes gave the little girl a kiss. It was then diagnosed as infection of herpes simplex virus type 1. Doctors finally gave the correct treatment and her skin went back to normal.

"For the past few months, Sienna’s face has looked amazing and the infection has not returned,” Savina said. "There is always a chance of it coming back, but fingers crossed it won’t happen and her skin will stay as good as it is now. It’s great to be able to go outside and not get any horrible comments from anyone.”

Savina would like to warn other parent to be responsible enough and do not let other people just kiss your children as we do not know what diseases they bring.
