[Trending Now] Danica Sotto-Pingris Revealed The Reason Why She Cannot Accept Pauline Luna As Her Stepmom!

During the launching of Cignal TV lifestyle channel Colours last March 22nd at Cities Event Place, Quezon City, TV celebrity and actress Danica Sotto-Pingris revealed the difficulty she faced accepting GMA actress Pauline Luna as her step-mother. Danica narrated the story behind how she was able to reach an understanding for her father’s new wife.

Danica and her brother, Oyo Sotto are Vic Sotto’s children to his former wife Dina Bonnevie. With her family’s background, she admitted that accepting Pauline Luna as their stepmother did not come easy. However, she is thankful that she can now finally love the actress as her own stepmother because acceptance is already there. 

Danica then claimed that she is thankful for having Pauline because she can really see her father’s happiness in her. She also noticed that Vic is in good health. Danica then claimed that she does not feel awkwardness anymore when Pauline attends their family gatherings.

“Ang galing din talaga ni God kasi yung pagiging close namin ni Pauleen ngayon, hindi namin pinilit. Nangyari lang siya naturally, nakisama siya nang maayos sa aming lahat. Kasi siyempre, dun ko rin nakita kung paano niya alagaan nang mabuti si Daddy. Makikita mo naman si Daddy na he’s happy at okey ang health niya. Nawala na yung pagkailang ko kapag nandiyan si Pauleen sa mga family gatherings namin.” Danica said during the press launch with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP).

The 33-year-old TV host revealed that accepting Pauline Luna as her father’s lover was a difficult decision for them. she claimed that they thought of too many considerations as they treat Pauline as a part of their circle of friends. She was also confused and worried about her father’s relationship with the Eat Bulaga dabarkads.

Despite all of these considerations, Danice remained open and considerate of her father’s happiness. After all, she finally claimed that she had accepted Pauline as his father’s legal wife.

“Before nandoon yung awkwardness, kasi nga parang magbabarkada lang kami. Hindi naman siya yung madali naming matanggap,.. Ang daming apprehension. Nandoon yung, ‘Uy, ano ba ‘to? Paano ba ‘to?’ Marami akong mga questions. Marami akong gustong sabihin tungkol sa relationship nila pero lahat yun, wala na. Kasi nagkaroon na ng acceptance, ngayon wala nang ilangan sa amin. I can honestly say na wala na,” Danica added.

Danica would be starting her TV career again as a host of the lifestyle show, MomBiz.
