Last Sunday, Kapamilya child star McNeal “Awra” Briguela took the trophy home as the first ever grand winner of "Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids" during the show's live finals. The finale was held at Resorts World Manila.
Awra received a staggering 95.41 percent of the votes for his super accurate performance as Nicki Minaj.
Along with his fans, Awra’s “Ang Probinsyano” co-star Coco Martin went to Instagram to congratulate the young talent. He shared Awra’s photo which showed the winner happily clutching his “Your Face” trophy.
He captioned the post with: “Yahoo!!! Congrats...Awra (Mac mac) sobra kaming proud na proud sayo dahil napakabait mong bata at sobrang mahal na mahal mo family mo at alam namin lahat na hindi ka mag babago!!! Mahal na mahal kita!!!”
Long before Awra’s finale performance, Coco had encouraged his followers and fans to vote for the young boy.
Besides the impressive looking trophy and a medal, Awra won a new house and lot, P1 million and a trip for four to Jeju, South Korea.

According to judge Gary Valenciano, "Tonight nakakuha ka ng isang standing ovation. Pinatunayan mo talaga na kahit sino at ano ang ipagawa sa iyo, gagawin mo ng husto at napakagaling. Para sa akin, to be in the grand showdown, you're already a champion to some extent."
