Being a parent is obviously a very difficult task. Once you decide to have children, your task won’t be limited to merely feeding your child, sending them to a good school, and buying them decent clothes. As a parent, you should also teach your child to be a good person and a respectful citizen. 

Former actress Sherilyn Reyes-Tan shared her experience when it comes to proper parenting. She currently has three children with her husband, former basketball player Chris Tan. 

Taking care of one child is already hard so you could just imagine how difficult it is for this couple to handle three kids.  

According to the celebrity, their biggest challenge that she and her husband have to face is spending enough time with their kids.  

"Wala naman masyadong challenge kasi mababait naman sila,” the former celebrity said in post from PEP.ph. 

“Makukulit, yes, siguro ang challenge is for us to make them listen and follow us no matter…" she added. 

She even noted how easy it is for their kids to get along by saying “Hindi naman sila nag-aaway nang grabe talaga or seryoso, so wala, pagsasabihan lang.” 

“Minsan pinagtatawanan, ganyan, palaging busog sila sa pangaral,” she mentioned 

When asked about her son, Ryle, who is a member of the inoy boy group Hashtags, she said "Siyempre, masayang-masaya at saka kami mismong family, number one fans talaga. We're actually very thankful na ang sipag-sipag ng mga fans talaga. At saka totoo yung pagmamahal nila kay Ryle and we’re very, very thankful." 

Despite not being the biological father of Ryle, Chris added, "Proud, very proud of what he has transformed to be. At saka sana tuluy-tuloy yung suporta, 'wag magsawa." 

Sherilyn also said “He's already 18, pero not like the majority of kids his age na may sarili na talaga life, siya talaga, he updates us, referring to his constant appearance in ASAP. 

“He asks us palagi for opinions, hindi nagde-decide kapag yung point of view namin hindi niya naririnig, ganun,” Sherilyn said. 

When it comes to Ryle’s career, Chris noted that "Whatever's given to him, just do his best kasi we cannot control it naman e. So, kung ano yung ibigay sa kanya, basta gawin niya lang yung best niya." 

Sherilyn agreed with her husband saying, "That's all we tell him naman, basta may ibigay sa 'yo, just do your best, whether sayaw or kanta. And yun yung… he's very competitive kasi, and perfectionist din so gusto niya palaging hundred percent yung ginagawa niya sa lahat ng bagay na binibigay sa kanya." 

Sherilyn’s advise to Ryle, "Always respect the veterans, kumbaga laging magpapakilala, laging lalapit. At saka 'wag male-late. Yun palagi."
