Alarm sirens have been sounding out in Pyongyang as tensions mount between North Korea and the US, which may lead to World War Three. A Russian newspaper has said that North Korean ordered an evacuation of more than 600,000 residents, which was a quarter of the city, as fears are growing over a nuclear strike.

A US Navy strike group was sent by the US to the Western Pacific as a show of force. North Korea had given a warning that a nuclear attack would be launched in response to any aggressive act.

It was suggested by security experts that Kim Jong-Un may be planning a secret submarine underwater nuclear attack. Submarines in the past in North Korea have been able to disappear so that they avoid detection, with as many as 50 of them vanishing completely off the radar during 2015.
