Not all heroes wear capes. This was proven by this photographer who was willing to risk his own life just to save a woman trapped inside a burning car in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Brittany Weiss who was a news reporter from WBRZ shared on her Facebook account the moment her photographer Patrick Perry saved the life of a 7-month pregnant woman named Caitlyn while they were traveling along the roads of Baton Rouge. They were on their way to cover a different news story when they saw Caitlyn’s car burning on the side of the road.
They saw that the car crashed into a tree and it was spitting flames. Perry did not think twice when he saw a moving body inside. He carried Caitlyn to a more secure spot as their other companion started filming the whole incident. It was fortunate that there were other road takers as well who offered their help immediately.
Caitlyn was rushed to the nearest hospital as she acquired serious injuries. Fortunately, her baby remained safe despite the impact.
