It’s an extremely rare case when a celebrity and a fan get along. Apparently, extreme adoration (idolatry) can actually lead to love - in some cases, anyway. 

Here is a list of celebrities who fell in love with and even married their fans, as compiled by GMA Entertainment: 

1. Alfred Vargas and Yasmine Espiritu 

Yasmine Espiritu was obsessed with Alfred Vargas. In fact, Yasmine revealed that she had a poster of Alfred in her room and has watched all of his films. 

Alfred said that it was “love at first sight” for him when he initially met Yasmine. They got married in 2010 and have two children. 

2. Alwyn Uytingco and Jennica Garcia 

Jennica admitted in her interview with ‘700 Club Asia’ that, when Alwyn was just a child star, she was already a die-hard fan. She even had his face as a cover for her notebook when she was studying. 

When Jennica entered showbiz, she finally met him. The two got married in 2014 and have one child. 

3. John Prats and Isabel Oli 

Did you know that when Isabel was just a regular girl she already had a huge crush on John Prats? In her first meeting with him, she asked for the dancer/actor’s autograph. They got married in 2015. 

4. Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero 

Did you know that Heart was once a fan of the senator? In fact, she said, "And to think I was just like them... a fan and you were always that one senator that I adored and looked up to! I sometimes still can't believe you are now my husband.”

5. Lucy Torres and Richard Gomez 

According to Lucy, she first laid eyes on Richard in a Lux commercial when she was just 12 years old. She said, "I first fell in love with you when I was 12 years old.”

She continued, “I finally met you when I was 19 on the set of our Lux shampoo ad and you asked me to be your bride when I turned 23.” 

6. Baby Yumping and Mike Enriquez 

Even though Mike Enriquez is not a showbiz celebrity, he is still a renowned reporter and news anchor. 

Baby said that when Mike was just a radio DJ, she was already a fan of him. She used to request many songs for Mike to play just so she could talk to him.
