[Trending Now] Two College Students Met After This Girl Double Parked! What Happened Next Is Adorable

More often than not, double parking is a nuisance for almost everyone. Double parking causes disturbances and disrupts those who are left at the far side of the parking area. However, as annoying as it is, who would have thought there could also be a positive outcome to such an incident.

On TARC confessions, a Malaysian college student shared her adorable love story that started when she unintentionally double parked.

What happened? Read this!

"The story of us meeting each other was pretty funny. Last year, I was late to a mid-term test because I was having fever. And I couldn’t find any empty parking slot. So I had no choice but to double park behind this car.

At that time, I was still using my beat-up phone, so I couldn’t receive any call. After the exam, I took a break inside the class because my fever was aggravating.

I forgot to look at my phone, so I didn’t know he was calling me to move my car. After 20 minutes, I decided to leave and go to a clinic. From afar, I saw 3 guys stood [sic] by my car. I was thinking, ‘Holy sh*t, I totally forgot about the double parking.

They looked pissed off and fierce. I looked at my phone and guess what, I couldn’t switch it on. I summoned every last [bit of] courage left in me and walked towards them.

I admitted it was my car that was blocking them and they started scolding me. Soon, tears started welling up in my eyes but I managed to hold it back. It was my fault anyway.

My future-boyfriend said: ‘Why are you crying? You’re making us look bad!’ After hearing that, I bowed down and apologized to them. They asked me not to repeat the same mistake in future and I nodded my head.

Before closing the door, he noticed that I looked sick. So he asked: ‘Are you alright?’ 

I said ‘yes’ and closed the door. That was the last time I saw him that day.

After 4 days, I was feeling better and my phone was repaired. Upon switching on the phone, a message came in stated that he had called me over 50 times. I was even more shocked when I received his messages on Whatsapp.

It turned out that he had been sending me messages ever since that day asking about my well-being and checking whether I reached home or not.

I was touched by his gestures and explained to him why I double parked. After he read my message, he immediately called me. I was shocked again.

He apologized to me, saying that he was worried something might have happened to me after I disappeared for a few days. And because of that, he had been having sleepless nights.

After that, we started texting and chatting with each other. [A] [f]ew months later, we officially got together. We were attracted to each other and so our relationships developed pretty fast," she wrote.

And now who would have thought that its been months since the incident. 

The woman shared: "Today is our 6-month anniversary, and we just had a fight because he spent his hard-earned money to buy a new phone for me. I was angry and had a ‘cold war’ with him until now. 

Writing this essay has provided me a trip down to the [sic] memory lane, recalling all the things we went through. I will definitely cherish him. I hope everyone can find their soulmates like how we did. If it wasn’t for his initiatives [sic], I don’t think we’ll [sic] be together. So don’t give up guys. Start becoming friends with each other first, then you will realise what a wonderful person your soulmate is."
