At approximately 9:47 on the morning of March 14, Tuesday, netizen Joynalyn Monterola Ancheta posted about her encounter with kidnappers on Facebook. Ancheta claimed that she abducted her on her way to the University of Perpetual Help-Molino.

SHOCKING! This Girl Claimed That She Was Kidnapped but the Suspects Released Her Because of Her Grandma's Surname!

According to her, what she encountered was very real and that, she didn’t post it for the mere act of getting fame nor getting lots of followers. She warned that people should be careful in the vicinity of 7/11 branch in Pag-Asa, Cavite.

Ancheta narrated that she came out of the convenience store after buying food but during her walk back to her school, two men quickly approached her from behind. As far as she remembered, there were no other people present in the vicinity.

One man held her by the shoulder while the other one had a knife pointed to her side. When Ancheta wasn’t able to move freely, a red van appeared in front of them and that was when she was shoved inside.

She claimed that she immediately texted her boyfriend to asked help but when they saw her cellphone, they quickly snatched it and turned it off. One of the men groped her chest and this was when she felt extremely terrified.

When the driver saw that she was being touched inappropriately, he said: “Oh, tanungin niyo muna ‘yan,” and the man stopped touching her.

Ancheta said that they asked her a lot of questions, including her name, the occupations of her parents, and even the surnames of her grandparents. When they found out about their surnames, that was when they turned silent.

Throughout the “interview,” Ancheta revealed that she was crying while she calmly answered all of their questions.
She also mentioned that all of the kidnappers shared a look with each other as if communicating silently.

When the van reached Heritage Hotel in Pasay City, the men quickly pushed her outside the door and abandoned her on the road.

Ancheta said that she was so terrified she wasn’t able to note down their plate number. She headed to the Baclaran Church and asked for someone to fetch her.
