Amidst all the rumors that continuously hound him about his sexuality, Piolo Pascual recently revealed his true feeling for Shaina Magdayao.
He surprised the world when he announced in February 2017 that he has been “exclusively dating” Shaina Magdayao for five years.
In his interview with ABS-CBN News, the actor revealed that he didn't want to label their relationship but claims it’s something that they “value” and “treasure.”
They were romantically linked together in 2012 after they were seen “getting cozy” in the 'ASAP' concert tour of Singapore.
During that time, Piolo shrugged off the rumors but claimed that Shaina was a “fine lady.”
In a separate report, Shaina downplayed Piolo's “dating” proclamations. She said in a message for ‘Tonight with Boy Abunda:’ "Yes, it has been years that Piolo has been there for me as a great friend I can always count on.”
"We have become very special to each other, even his whole family has become dear to me. Just for the record, he is free to date anyone he wants, the same way I'm free to date anyone I want,” the actress continued.
Piolo recently appeared in Boy’s talk show again. This time, he reiterated that he “loves" Shaina. According to ABS-CBN Push, they’re just not into labels.
He said: “Shaina and I have a mutual understanding na hindi namin alam kung paano ipaiintindi sa tao, but what we have is really something special.”
“Mahirap because pareho kaming public figures so we decided na wag na lang magsalita. Whatever we have, it is what it is. We’re very about it,” Piolo said.
When Boy asked him if he would like to get married, the actor said: “Of course, I want.”
When the host told him to describe Shaina, Piolo simply said: “Love.”
