[Trending Now] JUST IN: GMA Lets Go Of Aljur Abrenica After His Contract Expires!

It seems like it's the end of Aljur Abrenica's journey in GMA as his exclusive contract expired last week and they decided to let him go. 

Aljur was one of the “ultimate survivors” of the network’s premiere celebrity search competition, Starstruck Batch 4, where he got his biggest break. Since then, the actor has been in and out of shows under his home network.

However, their relationship slowly went rocky after the 27-year-old actor filed for a petition before the Quezon City Regional Trial Court to nullify his contract with the network in 2014. Aljur said that his current career trajectory did align with what GMA originally planned for him.

Despite the deteriorating relationship between Aljur and his home network, he was still offered work. These included Sunday All Stars, The Half Sisters, Dangwa, and Once Again. 

Aljur recently celebrated his 27th birthday on March 27 but it wasn’t all smiles for the actor. He recently faced another problem when allegations were leveled at him by Kaye Dacer. She claims Aljur owes him PHP 1.3 million.

Fans are complaining about his inactive social media accounts, thinking it may be due to the issues surrounding him at the moment.

On the bright side, Aljur is expecting a baby with his fiancée, Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla.
