[Trending Now] This Netizen Slammed Senator 'Tito' Sotto For His Negative Remark Against Cross-Dressing!

Senator "Tito" Sotto has become one of the most publicized and talked about politician in the Philippines for his controversial remarks. 

Just recently, the 'Eat Bulaga' host teamed up with fellow Senator Manny Pacquiao against cross-dressing. However, Senators Risa Hontiveros, Leila De Lima, and the first elected transgender Representative of the 1st District of Bataan Geraldine Roman stood and opposed Pacquiao's claim. 

Sotto's remark sparked a slew of discussions across social media. One Facebook user named Rexie Robles Tamayo argued that what the senator said about cross-dressing is not a good example for children and is a sin to God.

Tamayo mentioned all the segments under 'Eat Bulaga' that practiced cross-dressing, including 'Super Sireyna', 'Bebot', and even the 'Kalyeserye' lolas.

The netizen's rant went viral and received 6,656 shares. 

Tamayo also pointed out that shaming transgenders might affect lives of those who suffer from gender dysphoria. There are teenagers who commit suicide because they were bullied for the way they dress. These people are the reason why bills of anti-discrimination were approved. 

The netizen stressed that transgenders are people too, like Sotto, and everyone else.
