This brave Thai Man received many praises for his unconditional love for his wife suffering from muscle atrophy caused by a snake bite last year.

The wife became immobile ever since, so her husband was left to provide for their needs and stay in their small home in Sa Kaeo province, in eastern Thailand.

Despite the challenges they faced, the husband remained strong in his will to help his wife.

“We previously vowed to walk this life together. My wife is the most important person in my life, and I will never abandon her,” said the man.

He couldn't leave home and work far because no one will tend to his wife. Although they are being aided with 700 baht (S$28.40) and food donations from neighbors, these resources were still not enough for the both of them.

To make sure his wife eats properly, the husband feeds whatever they receive to her first. Only after she eats will he take whatever is left on the plate. This means that he hasn't eaten a full and decent meal ever since his wife got bedridden.

Netizens learned the story of this poor couple so they tried to reach out to them through food and supplies so the husband would no longer eat his wife's leftovers all the time.

Some visited them personally while others who couldn't, sent money instead. 

The husband shared, “I may not have a beautiful house or car, but I have dedicated my heart and soul to my wife, and will never go back on my word.”

“I believe my wife’s body will slowly recover. In life, you must always have hope.”
