[Trending Now] This New Indie Film Showcases the Philippines’ Beauty and Will Surely Make You Fall in Love With It All Over Again! Watch This!

To travel the world and back, see many different places and faces, to explore the unknown – these are some of life’s greatest joys. 

Yet, discovering the majesty and beauty that the Philippines holds should definitely be included in one’s bucket list. And the upcoming indie movie ‘Sakaling Hindi Makarating’ will prove just that. 

The indie film was shot in five different locations around the Philippines, namely Zamboanga, Siquijor, Marinduque, Ilocos Norte, and Batanes. 

These are all splendid places with wonders and sights that will surely leave you breathless. 

The film is about a woman who just had her heart broken after breaking up with her fiancé. Then, a series of mysterious hand-illustrated postcards prompts her to pack her bags and follow her heart as she goes on a journey throughout the Philippines in search of the postcards’ anonymous writer.

The film was directed by Ice Idanan who personally handpicked the actors who would portray each role, including the highly-regarded and internationally recognized Alessandra de Rossi. 

Alessandra plays the part of Cielo alongside actors JC Santos and Pepe Herrera. The whole film was shot in only 17 days, with a production team that maxed out to about 17 people.

This much awaited wanderlust film, ‘Sakaling Hindi Makarating’, will open in cinemas nationwide on February 1, 2017.
