Angel Locsin possesses voluminous and luxurious hair that many girls would be envious of, but a series of Instagram pictures showed the Kapamilya actress wearing artificial hair. She captioned it with: “Selfie kasi curly.” 

According to Elite News Feed, she suffered from hair loss because of mistreatment she received from a hair salon. 

When she was asked by Reggie Bonoan about what happened to her hair, the actress said, “Hi Ete Reggs, sorry nasa labas pa po ako. Saka na lang po ikukuwento sa iyo, promise, pero ‘wag mo isusulat.” 

One of Angel’s followers posted: “Well, they should pay Angel a ton of money. She endorses a shampoo brand so her hair is important. It is very kind of Angel not to bash the place. They owe her big time.” 

Another commented, “Which salon, if this is true? Whoever it is, causing a client to go bald after a supposed treatment will be very, very bad to the business. More so, when that client is well known.”

The actress still smiled despite the horrifying incident. Before this unfortunate accident, she dyed her hair blonde for the film “The Third Party” with Zanjoe Marudo and Sam Milby, according to Page One. 

In a 2009 poll of StyleBible’s Shampoo Commercial-Worthy Hair, Angel led the by taking 50.1 percent of the votes.  She squared off against other notable stars, such as KC Concepcion, Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Kim Chiu, Lucy Torres-Gomez, and Ruffa Gutierrez. 

Angel is well-known for her endorsement of Head and Shoulders shampoo, along with John Lloyd Cruz.
