[Trending Now] These Scientists May Have Found Past Life On Mars! Can We Move To The Red Planet Soon? Read The Full Story Here!

Last week, Nature Communications published a research that shows the amazing similarities between Earth and Mars. It was led by Steve Ruff and Jack Farmer of Ariza State of University. 

After finding a hot-spring like location in Mars, called Home Plate, Ruff and Farmer spent their time studying outflows of different hot springs here on Earth, most particularly, the one in El Tatio, Chile, located at the edge near the Atamaca Desert. A desert that is considered as one of the Mars-like places on Earth.

Home Plate was found by NASA's rover named "Spirit". It is located near the 3 to 4 billion years old Gusev Crater.

Ruff claimed that El Tatio produces silica deposits with the same characteristics found in Mars. None of their research is validated yet by NASA.

In 2020, NASA will send another rover to prove if life ever did exist on MARS.

Both researchers are adamant that the study deserves more investigation. If the 2020 rover exploration turns out to be a success, it may be a mere decade until we move to the Red Planet.
