[Trending Now] Passenger Vessel Going To Taiwan Sinks Near Batanes. Two Crew Members Are Still Missing.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has reported that a passenger vessel going to Taiwan sank in the sea near Itbayat Island in Batanes. Two crew members are still missing.

PCG spokesman Armand Balilo reported that the MV Kanzam Express, containing seven crew members, sank near the Itbayat islang before a passing vessel, the MV Ingric C, came to their rescue.

Two crew members of the MV Kanzam Express are still missing. No other casualties have been reported.

The PCG has already sent a rescue team in search of the two missing crew members. They have also requested the Armed Forces to send a helicopter for the search and rescue mission.

The PCG have already alerted the Taiwan Coast Guard about the incident.
