[Trending Now] 65-Year-Old ‘Tatay’ Goes Viral Because of His Best-Selling Ube Halaya!

While most senior citizens enjoy their retirement by lounging around in the comfort of home or travelling around the world, 'Tatay' Willie has a different story.

The 65-years-old is still working hard for a living. He sells Ube Halaya along EDSA Ortigas’ Northbound side, between Robinson’s Galleria and Megamall. 

He sells his delectable ube halaya for about Php 65 to Php 85. Many claim that it is the best ube halaya in town!

Netizen Cristen Gabriel was touched by his story and posted about it on her Facebook page. Her post immediately went viral, garnering 8,700 reactions and over 2,000 shares. 

She captioned it with:

“Tay picturan kita ha?”

“Sige, pero ang pangit ko baka sumabog yang cellphone mo ah.” 

Guys, this is Tatay Willie, 65. He is selling Ube Halaya along Edsa Ortigas Northbound (yung covered sidewalk sa gitna ng Galleria at Megamall, near MRT station). If you happen to pass by him at marami ka namang pera at gusto mong makatikim ng masarap na Ube Halaya bili ka sakanya. 65 pesos isa pero pag dalawa bibilhin mo 120 pesos nalang. Yung nakabox mas maraming laman, 85 ata isa. 3rd time ko na makabili sakanya. Promise guys sobrang sarap! Mas masarap pa sa Ube Halayang gawa ng mama ko (sorry ma) hahahaha #UbeForSale"
