Actor Robin Padilla has finally reacted on the controversy his nephew Mark Anthony Fernandez is facing after being arrested in Angeles City for possession of illegal drugs, found inside his car.

Padilla expressed gratitude towards God and police authorities, admitting great relief that the actor was safe and wasn't harmed despite the heated encounter which led to a car chase. He incessantly thanked the authorities who arrested his nephew for treating him well. Many unverified reports have been rising claiming that despite the lack of resistance during arrest, some pushers are still being neutralized by the authorities. 

Furthermore, he said that the late actor and father of Mark Anthony, Rudy Fernandez would be infuriated if anything happened to his son.

The actor's disposition regarding the arrest was commended by netizens, praising him for his composure and lack of bitterness towards the government and police despite the arrest.
