It should be part of any Pinoy Travellers bucket list-- the Hinatuan Enchanted River in Surigao del Sur.

Until today, The Hinatuan Enchanted River has many undetermined parts and the depth of the river is yet to be established.  There are also stories about the protectors of the river. They are called ‘diwatas’ - supernatural beings that keep the river safe.

If you really want to go and experience the Enchanted River but you have a tight budget. DON’T WORRY! There is a place where you can go that is just near Manila and this river is close to Surigao del Sur’s Hinatuan Enchanted River. It is the Bukal Falls in Laguna.

Colleen Vidal, a certified Public Accountant and travel blogger posted her photos in Bukal Falls which looked just like the turquoise water the Hinatuan Enchanted River.

HOW TO GET THERE? -Ride a bus from Cubao/ Buendia to Sta Cruz: 140PHP -Drop off at Pagsawitan -Ride a jeep bound to Majayjay: 23PHP -Drop off at Barangay Bukal

ENTRANCE FEE: -Registration fee: 20PHP -Tour guide: 300PHP (60PHP each for a group of 5) 

SIDETRIP: -Majayjay Church **just along Majajay Proper

Also, if you have a chance to visit Bukal Falls, leave only footprints and take only pictures. Let’s keep the place beautiful and clean.
