Panasonic has revealed an upgraded version of their “Invisible TV” during in a recently conducted annual trade show Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies (CEATEC) in Japan.
The first prototype of the “Invisible TV” was launched by Panasonic at the International Consumer Electronics show that took place in Las Vegas, USA. They used Led technology to the previous version, however, the newest version has a new OLED display technology with the ability to produce clearer and crisper images even on a bright background.
In addition, motion gesture control is one of the features of the TV just like what you usually see in movies like Avengers and Minority Report.
The OLED Display places a fine plastic layer between two electrodes over a glass slab, so, when there is no signal caused by electricity, the display turns transparent.
On the other hand, people claim that prominent advancement in television won’t happen due to the coming of 4K displays. However, recently, Samsung, LG and Panasonic came up with technological game changers like foldable and transparent devices.
The sad thing about it is it’s still a prototype design and it is still not available in the market yet. The “Invisible TV” can be bought after three years or so, as told by the company’s representative.
