Kat De Castro post last Thursday was later on deleted and left a different one telling the people and fans to 'chill' as they wait for an official statement coming from the Tourism secretary Wanda Teo.

As of now, I can't really say anything about the final show, the final list of destinations and even the final ancillary events.

The official announcement will come from my boss, Department of Tourism- Philippines Secretary Wanda Teo, and of course, Miss Universe Organization.
So for the time being... CHILL.

Department of Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo earlier revealed during an official announcement that the former Ilocos Sur governor Chavit SIngson along with other major sponsors namely Philippine Airlines (PAL), Sm Group, Solar Entertainment and Japanese Casino Mogul Kazuo Okada will be supporting the finances of hosting the Miss Universe Pageant instead of the PH Government.
