Philippines is a country where one finds a unique culture and unusual things seen on the daily, but many are also aware of one thing that is popular and very unique in the country.
Here, you will see actors and actresses who use their popularity to influence the mass and promote other politicians.
Agot Isidro, the veteran actress, slammed President Duterte on a string of posts on social media.
The singer-actress expressed her anger on the president for daring the European Union and the United States to withdraw all their aids in the country.
He boldly declared the Philippines can survive without foreign assistance and that he will gladly be the first to go hungry but will “never compromise” the Filipino’s integrity.
Isidro responded with: “Unang-una, walang umaaway sa iyo. As a matter of fact, ikaw ang nang-aaway.
“Pangalawa, yung bansa kung saan ka inuluklok ng 16 million out of 100+ million people ay Third World. Kung makapagsalita ka parang superpower and pilipinas eh. At excuse me, ayaw namin magutom.
Mag-isa ka na Lang. wag kang mandamay. Hindi na nga nakakain ang nakararami, gugutumin mo pa lalo.
“Pangatlo, may kilala along psychiatrist. Patingin ka. Hindi ka bipolar. You are a psychopath.”
The Facebook post went viral, as Duterte supporters and critics went lashing at each other in the comments section.
One said, on a neutral note, “Just because one is a fan of Mocha Uson, it does not mean that all her sentiments are wrong in the same way that just because Agot is a fan of Leni, it does not mean that Agot is wrong.
Attack the argument, Mocha, not the affiliation and the perceived bias. Hindi porket kaaway, mali.”
The Facebook profile of Agot Isidro was confirmed by the prominent people in her friend’s list.
