[Trending Now] De Lima Admits Feeling Betrayed By Former Security Aide's Foul Testimony: 'Gusto Lang Nila Akong Pinapahiya'

Senator Leila De Lima admitted to being hurt after former security aide testified against her and revealed information about her romantic relationship with former bodyguard and driver, Ronnie Dayan who had been previously accused of collecting drug money for her.

On Thursday, the senator admitted to reporters that she is still wondering what pushed Presidential Security Group (PSG) member to talk about her personal life and reveal details, regardless if the testimony was false or not.

"He just mentioned certain personal matters which I find hurting because I treated all my security, past and present, well. Tinutulungan ko po sila pag may pangangailangan sila," she said.

Despite that the House Panel did not play her alleged videos, the senator still cried foul after they allowed Sanchez to discuss personal matters.

"Even if di natuloy showing ng alleged sex video, the fact na hinahayaan nila na merong nagkukwento tungkol diyan is equally objectionable. What is the connection of that? Gusto lang nila akong pinapahiya," De Lima said.

Sanchez, who spoke in front of the House Justice Committee on the inquiry on the proliferation of illegal drug activities inside the New Bilibid Prison (NBP), claimed that De Lima and alleged lover Dayan had once been in a relationship further revealing that they usually share a room during out-of-town trips, exchange sweet text messages and had two private videos.

De Lima said that the testimony of Sanchez was irrelevant to the issue being discussed at the legislative inquiry.

Sanchez, PSG Member was once part of De Lima's close-in security for almost five years dating from July 2010 to May 2015. However, Sanchez claimed that the Senator fired him after he seeked for Oriental Mindoro Representative Alfonso Umali Jr's help for his ill father.
