A rice farmer from Negros Occidental, Noven Belleza was named as the newest grand finalist of 'Tawag ng Tanghalan' on Saturday.
He sang Basil Valde's "Kahit Ako'y Lupa" which he said best describes his journey from their small farm in Victorias City up to the said talent show with his soaring voice. He won the one of the two remaining spot in 'Tawag ng Tanghalan'.
"Kahit simpleng tao po ay puwedeng pong mangarap," Belleza said while sharing his story in joining many singing contest to showcase his talent.
"Iyong performance mo ngayong araw, iyan iyong may pinaka may pusong performance na narinig ko from you. And through that, naniniwala ako na mayroon ilan at maraming tao na nagbago ang buhay --you remind me to be kind, na maging humble, to always look to God," Constantino told him.
He received the highest combined scores from public votes as well as from the judges making a total of 96.6 percent.
An aspiring professional singer from Bulacan and also a former contestant of "Pilipinas Got Talent", Eumee Capili got the second highest score of 74.16 percent. Capili sang "Narito Ako" by Regine Velasquez and she will also move to the grand finals with Belleza.
The two who won an additional P150,000, join Marielle Montellano, Pauline Agupitan, Mary Gidget Dela Llana, and Maricel Callo in the "Tawag" grand finals, set to be held early next year.
