Last Saturday, a boy was in tears after her mother was captured by authorities and a relative was executed in an anti-drug operation in Quiapo, Manila.
The uncle of the boy and another suspect got shot after they were caught selling illegal drugs in an entrapment.
The boy’s mother was caught due to the “Oplan Tokhang” which is the government’s modus of capturing drug traffickers.
The boy cried, “Birthday ko pero wala si Mama! Wala si Papa!”
Authorities also recovered two firearms aside from the illegal drugs.
