Recently, another Pinay talent has been recognized all over the world. Ivy Paredes, a Filipina from Malaybalay, Bukidnon, has previously wowed the judges of "The X Factor UK" with her rendition of "One Sweet Day" by Mariah Carey with Mike Hough and Lascel Wood.

Having been inspired by the success of 4th Impact, a Filipina girl group who made it big international because of the same show, Paredes gave it all when she performed Whiney Houston's "I Have Nothing" as her final performance. She wowed not just the judges but also the audience who gave her a standing ovation. The other contestants were also amazed of her rendition of the song. 

"I know why you left the Philippines because your voice is way too big for the Philippines alone, it's meant for the entire world to hear." said Nicole Scherzinger, one of the judges.

Simon Cowell praised her performance as well and said: "Is it the most original thing we've ever heard? No. Is it exciting? Yes. Should you be in a chair, yes."

Despite issues with her visa that recently floated, she cleared that she is still part of the show.
