[Trending Now] WATCH: De Lima Breaks Silence After Bilibid Riot: 'This is Madness!'

Former Justice Secretary and now Senator Leila de Lima held a press conference after the stabbing incident inside the New Bilibid Prison Building 14 where three inmates were hurt last September 28.

"I cannot of course say conclusively what exactly happened. But di ko po pinaniniwalaan yung bersyon nila ngayon na riot," de Lima said during her press conference.

Convicted carnapper Jaybee Sebastian, also known as de Lima’s bagman in drug-related deals, together with two other inmates, drug lord Peter Co and Vicente Sy was said to be injured in the riot but was currently at Medical Center Muntinlupa for treatment.

De Lima even can't help but call the incident 'madness'. "This is really madness. Nakikiusap po talaga ako sa pangulo, kanila Aguirre, huminto na po kayo sa mga, dyan sa, madness! Yang mga ginagawang ito sa akin, hindi naman ito dapat kasama diyan sa giyera laban sa droga. Itong malagiyera na rin na ginagawa nila sa akin na dahil lamang sa matinding galit ng tao na pangulo na rin natin ngayon," de Lima told the media pertaining to her Davao Death Squad probe last 2009.

"All of a sudden, I am now the Bilibid drug queen," she added.
