Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre III have released a statement denying Senator Leila De Lima's claim of fabricating evidences against her for the sole purpose of dragging her down.

After JonathanJongCaranto and Edna “Bogs” Obuyes, former staff of De Lima during her days as the Justice Secretary were allegedly ordered by the senator to deposit millions of pesos on a bank account that was not named after De Lima, reports now says that the bank account belongs to her driver and suspected lover Ronnie Dayan.

"Binibigyan daw siya ng pera ni De Lima para i-deposit sa account ni Dayan," says Aguirre on an interview.

He insisted that contrary to De Lima's accusation, the staff were not forced to testify against her.

"Mayroong affidavit at tsaka walang pumilit sa kanila...As a matter of fact, pumayag pa mag lie detector test ang dalawa."

When reporters asked if the amount deposited could commensurate the salaries of employees, Aguirre answered it was too big of an amount.

"Hindi. Maliit lang ang sahod sa kanilang dalawa."

However, De Lima insists on her belief that the two were coerced in order to create evidences for the upcoming investigation of the House of Representatives.

“The alleged existence of accounts, that is a fabrication. I don’t think those two would have those accounts, instant millionaires nga sila --- Ano ba yan? Dahil sa House inquiry, siguro nagpa-panic na sila. They have nothing. So ngayon, binibilisan na nila yung pag-fabricate, pag manufacture ng evidence na ‘yan," De Lima says.
