[Trending Now] Sali Makdum Exists But Family Has Different Version of Matobato Story!

He exists but the story is different.

That's what Sali Makdum's family told CNN Philippines in a report. Makdum was previously unsearchable, prompting people to think that self-confessed former Davao Death Squad member Edgar Matobato is just making up story.

In his statement, Matobato said he killed Makdum and chopped him into pieces because he is part of an international terrorist group.

His relatives said that Makdum was indeed killed by Matobato but it's not because of Makdum's involvement in terrorism.

The Turkish national became friends with Matobato with the promise of good business involvement in buy-and-sell of land.

When there are disputes in a transaction, Matobato invited Makdum, who was seen eating at his cousin's canteen, to a van to talk. That was the last time his relatives see him alive.
