After the Korean suspense-thriller movie "Train to Busan" hit blockbuster in many parts of the world, the movie's protagonist- Gong Yoo announced that the movie will be having a sequel.

Yoo, who played the role of fund manager Seok Woo took it to Twitter and posted last Tuesday: “And there will be a sequel of Train to Busan. For you all."

However, Gong's role may not be part of the sequel due to the heartbreaking ending of the movie.

Gong Yoo pitched in the idea to Director Yeon Sang-Ho to still feature his character as a zombie in the sequel. However, Yeon pictured that when he fell off the train, he would have broke his neck to death.

I talked about this with Director Yeon Sang Ho, and I said that I thought my character Seok Woo might be living somewhere as a zombie,” he told Sports Chosun, featured in Soompi.

"But Director Yeon said that when Seok Woo fell off the train, he broke his neck and died,” Gong said laughing. "But I suppose since Ma Dong Seok‘s character is living on as a zombie, they could do a sequel from his character’s perspective.”

Meanwhile, producers are flooding in wanting to be part of the blockbuster hit. US and French Based Producers have expressed their desire to do a remake which hiked to $100 million dollars while
Sony Pictures and 20th Century Fox, as well as French film titans Gaumont, EuropaCorp and Canal Plus, competes in producing the film’s sequel.
