[Trending Now] Now Trending: Duterte Amazed The Japanese Media Because Of This!

During the past weeks, Pres. Rodrigo Duterte has made noise in the international media regarding his Pres. Obama remarks and his way of eliminating crime and drugs in the country. Many opposing Duterte said that his remarks and the way he handles crime in the country will affect his image in the international community. However, despite these controversies, Pres. Duterte gathered attention of the international media again but this time he gained remarks from a television show in Japan which described him as "sugoi" or "amazing".

Marjorie Mendoza shared the video that is now circulating the social media and she said that Duterte is being featured daily in the different T.V shows and newscasts in the Japanese media. The Asian Policy asked Mendoza to translate the video and according to her, a group of panelists gave their opinions about Duterte's way of leading the country. The panelists discussed Duterte's personality including his cussing, the background of their family and mainly his accomplishments in Davao City when he was still the City Mayor. 

Meanwhile, the t.v show earned 91% trust rating in the Philippines as it expressed its admiration for the Philippine President. Moreover, it also showed that the Japanese Media is recognizing Duterte's ability despite his controversial personality. Most of all, they were also astonished with Duterte's style of leadership.
