[Trending Now] Nancy Binay Sympathizes With De Lima, Saying Attacks Are 'Below the Belt'

Nancy Binay cried foul over attacks against Senator Leila De Lima. She noted how the attacks has been "below the belt" and has expressed her sympathy for the Senator.

"Syempre sympathetic and sana yung pinagdaanan namin hindi na pagdaanan ng ibang tao, including her,” she said after experiencing numerous bullying during the senatorial campaign. 

Her father has also faced many controversies after getting accused of overspending over the Makati City Hall. He was also accused of misusing public funds. 

"Yung iba naman below the belt. Kung tutuusin ano naman ang pakialam natin sa lovelife nya?” she said pertaining to Duterte's earlier pronouncement on De Lima's alleged relationship with her driver. He also claimed that she has a love affair with 'Warren' who is an employee of Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.

However, her father were one of the 16 senators who ousted De Lima as the chair of the Senate committee on justice and human rights. De Lima remains as the member of the panel. 

“Sinabihan ko sya na lilipas din yan kasi based on our experience,” she shared how she approached De Lima after the Senator's privilege speech.
