One of the most successful businessman in the country, Ramon S. Ang, the CEO of San Miguel Corporation has declared his support for Pres. Rodrigo Duterte despite various criticisms from the opposition and from the international community.

Ang, who is also known to be one of the country’s business titans, expressed his support for the President as he also shared the company’s vision of improving and investing heavily in manufacturing and infrastructure. SMC which is one of the biggest conglomerates in the country believes that the economy under President Duterte’s administration will eventually reach its peak.

Ang envisions a better Philippines under the new administration as he believes that Duterte will be able to eliminate the problem of drugs and criminality in the country. He also added that Pres. 

“Mark my word: This country will fly. This country will be a better place for our children and grandchildren because the drug problem will be eliminated under Duterte,” the CEO said.

Duterte will be the best President the country has when he successfully achieve his mission and vision.

“If the President solves the problems of drug, criminality and corruption, he will become the best president the Philippines has ever had” Ang added.

Moreover, SMC is also focused in building more airports, seaports and railways as they expect economic surge under the new administration.

Meanwhile, the leading fuel company in the country, Petron, is also starting to plan its expansion with the help of petrochemical and power plants and cement factories built by SMC.
