The actress and her husband, director Paul Soriano, are now officially parents.
Kapamilya star Toni Gonzaga has finally given birth to her baby boy, according to her family, and is now resting and “taking it easy”.
The couple welcomed their baby boy, Severiano Elliot Gonzaga-Soriano, who they call Seve, at 5:23AM on Friday, September 30th. This was according to Soriano’s Instagram.
In a phone interview with ABS-CBN, Toni’s mother, Pinty Gonzaga , revealed more details about her daughter giving birth.
"Super hindi siya nahirapan sa contractions. It's only this morning siya nag-start mag-push, so doon siya nahirapan,” she said.
The couple got married on June 2015, in a wedding that was highly supported by Filipino fans worldwide.
Rumours about Toni’s pregnancy first surfaced last February, but the actress chose to remain silent about the topic.
It was in April when the couple announced that those rumours were true and that she was indeed pregnant.
Filipino netizens welcomed this news with warmth, and expressed their support for the couple in various social media sites, especially Facebook.
