1 killed and 4 others injured with two of them in critical condition. This was the report given by a fire service spokesman after a lifeboat became detached from the biggest cruise ship in the world-Harmony of the Seas, during a safety drill last Tuesday

Unfortunately, the one who was reportedly dead was a 42-year-old Filipino crew. According to deputy mayor Julien Ruas, he was dead on the spot when the lifeboat fell about 10meters or 35 feet into the water. The cruise docked in Southern France, Marseille straight from Spanish island Majorca when the incident happen. Two crewmen are still fighting for their lives after the incident. 

The Harmony of the Seas is the widest cruise ship ever built. It is operated by Florisa-based Royal Carribean and has only began service last May. This 120,000-ton linet is 362-metter in length, 50 meters longer than the Eiffel Tower. It was built in the STX boatyard in the French port of Saint-Nazaire. It has 16 decks and can have the maximum 6,000 passengers.

One of its onboard attracts are "The Ultimate Abyss", giant climbing wall, a rope slide, mini-golf, surf simulator, floating jacuzzis, casino and 1,400-seat theatre playing Broadway musicals.
