The Philippine National Police (PNP) has once again proved itself and its efforts of bringing convenience and top service to the Filipino citizens. 

On Wednesday, the PNP launched its latest mobile application, iSerbis, an integration of all their apps and services that people can download for free on all iOS and Android devices. 

PNP Information Technology Management Service director Chief Superintendent Edwin Jose Nemenzo said "The PNP is now at your fingertips, make use of it,"

He also added that “This is in response to the pronouncement of President Rodrigo Duterte during his first State of the Nation Address for the government agencies to use information technology to reduce red tape and support the administration’s anti-drug campaign.”

He explained that iSerbis now has PNP advisory, contact numbers of chief of police, emergency hotlines of the PNP and other law enforcement agencies, and processes and documentary services needed in PNP services such as for the processing of firearms licenses and permits and vehicle clearance and alarms from the Highway Patrol Group and PNP recruitment process and other clearances are also available in the application.

In a message read by Director Napoleon Taas, head of Directorate for Information and Communication Technology Management, PNP chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa said the new app will be a “real great help to our mission in providing faster PNP services.”

“(It would also help in) eliminating criminal activities in making our fellowmen more aware of what they can do in case they are facing some unexpected scenario anywhere,” he said.

Netizens were all happy and welcomed this new idea, saying that it services to the convenience of many people.
