Retirement is at the age of 60. We all dream of it as being able to rest from years of working hard for the family. We all plan to save up and go around the world or better yet a simpler life with your grandchildren. But not all old people have been in that fate.
For one, here is Lola Lourdes Munoz. At the age of 87 years old, she struggles to travel far and work as a laundrywoman just to get 100 pesos for her meals. A certain netizen named April Amisola shared her story and broke the heart of many others who have never wanted such fate and at the same time, pities the old woman. She shared how she accompanied and treated the old woman to lunch, something that Lola Munoz was extremely grateful for. Here is her full post:
"Siya si Lola Lourdes Munoz. 87 Years Old, nakita ko siyang nakatulala sa SM kahapon.
