According to reports from Brigada News TV, 34-year-old Nonito Elivera stabbed his wife to death after finding out that she was allegedly having an affair with her textmate.
In Purok Masagana, Brgy. Poblacion Alabel Sarangani Province, in the home of the victim, Nonito assaulted 27-year-old wife after he overheard her telling friends about her textmate whom he presumed was cheating on him. The alcohol-influenced husband stabbed her in the heat of the conversation despite their 6-year old son who witnessed the crime.
After the crime, the suspect escaped in haste and is now being hunted by police authorities of Alabel. Furthermore, charges are being prepared against him once caught.
