Hemorrhoids are caused by an increased pressure in the veins causing expansion. It is commonly located at the rectum or in the body near the anus. 1) Ice Pack

You can do this several times a day to lessen swelling. Make sure to not use this more than 10-15mins to avoid chilling.

2) Try a Sitz Bath

Sitz Bath can bought in your local drugstores. However, you can use salt plus other ingredients as an alternative. Just have warm water in a bath tub, and add the following: Mix 1/2 cup of Epsom salt, two tablespoons of baking soda, 2 tablespoons (29.6 ml) of witch hazel, 1 tablespoon (14.8 ml) of olive oil, 8 drops of lavender essential oil, and 8 drops of chamomile essential oil. Soak in this within 15-30 minutes.

3) Improve Hygiene

One thing you want for your hemorrhoids is to get worse. Always keep your anus dry and clean. Use wet wipes when using the toilet to avoid bacteria from thriving.
