Aaron Santos, a student from Centro Escolar University, took a shot for the moon, and got a reply from a star. 

Over the recent weeks, asking out one’s crush over Facebook became a thing, setting out like and share quotas so they can go out with the girl. 

Santos tried asking out his crush Bianca Yao on Facebook Messenger, asking her if she would go on a date with him if his post got 5,000 likes, 2,500 comments, and 2,500 shares. 

Bianca Yao has almost 500,000 followers on Facebook. The message was left unnoticed for three weeks, and Yao thought that it was hilarious, thinking that he can never get those numbers in a day. 

"I felt that it was a really funny proposal and I thought to myself that there's no way that he's gonna get those numbers in a day that's why I replied g," she wrote. 

So Santos, with a screenshot of the dare, took into Facebook his dilemma and asked for the Filipino netizen’s help. A day later, he got nearly 100,000 likes, 13,000 comments, and 3,000 shares. 

In a Facebook post, Yao said that she was pleasantly surprised and said that she would keep her word.

“Last night, I thought of checking my “other” messages in facebook, then I saw this guy’s message and I felt that it was a really funny proposal and I thought to myself that there’s no way that he’s gonna get those numbers in a day that’s why I replied g. 

A few hours later, I got numerous tags and saw that this guy actually posted our conversation on his fb page and asked for help. Now it’s at 82k likes, 2,785 shares and 12k comments, my word is my bond and I guess I’ll have to go out on a friendly date with this guy. 

Eto ang literal na napalaban ang ate nyo. HAHAHA!
