Senator Leila De Lima cries harassment after two of her staff during her time in the Department of Justice have filed affidavits asked by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) claiming in their signed statements that she asked them to deposit millions in a bank account with a different name.

"Parang pinapaamin sa kanila na ako nagpabukas noon para ipadaan ang mga galing sa convicts na mga drug lords. Jesus Christ," she said.

On previous news, President Rodrigo Duterte accused of her protecting drug lords and funding her senate campaign through drug money.

De Lima claims that the House inquiry is an act of harassment towards her as intended by its purpose due to her strong opposition on the President's drug war. However, House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez affirmed that it is not singled out on De Lima.
