With the world's light that seems to be slowly fading day by day and humanity that is starting to crumble, little acts of kindness goes a long way.

"Pay it forward" strangers say in hopes of restoring humanity, it means doing an act of kindness and expecting it to be returned forward, to other people in need until the act of kindness reaches everyone. This is the people's message today.

Kevon Smith Sr. was out with his 3-month-old son at Cracker Barrel in Willoughby, Ohio when Kevon notices an old couple who kept on staring and smiling at them all throughout breakfast.

He was left wondering what the couple wanted, when he went out to his car that he understood what was going on.

The strangers wanted to do an act of kindness for him and his son.

A note was tucked in his windshield and it read, "Today your meal is on my wife and me. Enjoy that baby boy as long as God intends. Keep doing what you’re doing. The Masons."

The note was tucked in with cash and it wasn't that that strucked Kevin, it was the act.

"There’s a lot of guys I know that aren’t taking care of their kids, to show that not all of us are out here being gang bangers, some of us are out here being fathers."

Kevon is a football coach who left a paying job to volunteer in a team community.

He wants to tell his son of the encounter when he gets older to teach the young kid that "kindness goas a long way".

"I’m definitely going to make sure I’m paying it forward, I get blessed. I want to bless someone else."
