[Trending Now] The Country’s Queen of Soul, Jaya, Finally Sang On ASAP For The Very First Time!

After being in the Kapuso network for more than 16 years, the Kapamilya fans finally had the opportunity to hear the Queen of Soul, Jaya, to perform on the stage of ASAP last Sunday, September 25.

Jaya performed her hit song “Dahil Tanging Ikaw” as part of the ASAP’s tribute for  Filipino composer Vehnee Saturno The Queen of Soul appeared on the variety show two months after she decided to transfer from the other TV Network. Currently, Jaya is also one of the judges in one of the segments of the afternoon show, It’s Showtime. In recent interviews, Jaya revealed that she had enjoyed being one of the judges of Tawag ng Tanghalan.

During her interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda”, Jaya expressed how eager she was when she decided to transfer networks and be a Kapamilya.

"Like any child, sometimes you have to grow up and you want to break free from something that you're so used to doing and fly. And for me, flying now and doing this with ABS-CBN is something I know God has planned for me."

Jaya ended the interview saying that she is indeed a Kapamilya.

"I am a Kapamilya," Jaya said feeling so proud of her decision.
