It took a year for Bea Alonzo to establish her dream house. The actress was 25 years old when she moved in to her Asian Contemporary Inspired home.
Alonzo shared more about independent living in the latest interview with PEP.ph and a group of press as she endorse Sta. Lucia Land, Inc.
“It was hard for me the first year, ano. Kase syempre medyo magugulat ka na ikaw iyong magbabayad ng kuryente, ikaw yung magaayos ng madumi mong damit,” Alonzo said. “It was fun, scary and exciting all wrapped in one.”
Her house, which was featured in Yes! Magazine July 2013 issue, had a airy and light feeling.
The living room's high ceilings gives so much space as well as draws attention to a view of the lannai. A baby grand piano, chandeliers and a chess set also feature prominently in this area.
A Fil Dumalo painting in neutral colors really pulled the room together.
Alonzo’s well-equipped kitchen will also wow you! She showed off her ice-cream maker, espresso machine and powerful microwave oven. Everything one might need to cook elaborate and lavish meals!
Besides of her breakfast nook by the window, her kitchen utensils are neatly arranged in a a customized, one-of-a-kind cabinet.
The master’s bedroom was designed to be every girl’s dream with a private toilet and bath complete with a walk-in closet. he walk-in closet, in the center has a glass cabinet which prominently displays the actress's collection of designer bags like YSL, Gucci, Prada, Louboutin and Chanel.
The pool also proved to be a breathtaking feature of the house.
Alonzo admitted that if she was not an actress, she would just be living alone.
“Siguro if I’ve gotten another job, kung hindi ako artista, I don’t need people around me all the time to help me with my stuff, I would also [live] in a condo alone.”
Bea Alonzo and her family have been living in their home has been there for more than three years.
