Yesterday, September 6, two women got arrested in Davao City as a result of saying bomb jokes. Check points are very strict and does not compromise especially bomb jokes

An 18 years old girl named Isabella now regrets what she did after she got arrested in consequence of telling to the Security Guard that she has a bomb on her bag upon entering the mall. Authorities immediately made an action and arrested the girl. According to the Security Guard, the suspect said that she has a bomb on her bag while they were inspecting it. Then urgently, they called 911 to assist them.

Another woman got arrested because of telling bomb jokes in another mall in Davao. A case of violating the Presidential Decree 1727 or also known as anti-bomb joke is charged against them. Imprisonment of this said violation will be not more than 5 years and a fine not more than P40,000.

In other cases, some schools in Davao City received bomb threats that led to suspension of classes. DepEd requests that law enforcers should boost their security in the different schools in Davao City. 

Senior Superintendent Michael John Dubria still heads Davao City PNP and Chief Col. Henry Robinson of the Task Force Davao. They can’t be replaced yet because there is still no short list given.

Mayor of Davao City Sara Duterte said that she gave names to PNP Chief Dela Rosa but he denied it. However, Dela Rosa dropped some named but Mayor Duterte refuse. She said that she compromised and told Dela Rosa to make a short list in two to three days.
The artist sketch of the possible people who might be involved in the bombing in Davao City are now in the hands of Special Investigation Task Group but they have not released it yet. Two man and women are pointed to be the persons of interest in the casualty.
