The Abu Sayaff Group (ASG) owns up to the Davao bombing that happened last night that left 14 people dead and 60 injured.

ASG spokesperson Abu Rami claimed that it was a "call for unity to all mujahideen in the country" after President Duterte ordered the government's military group to go to an all-out offense against the group.

Rami said the bombing does not intend to divert the government forces who are amidst intensifying the offensives in Sulu and Basilan.

"That's not a diversionary tactic.

He further warned that the attack is just the beginning and the country should expect more.

In line with this, President Duterte have declared a "state of lawlessness" to tighten the security in the country. Police an military in Zamboanga are also on full alert as of the moment.
